About
Dr. Michele Goldman
Dr. Michele Goldman (she/her), owner and founder of Navita Psychological Health, is a licensed clinical psychologist and AASECT certified sex therapist with over 10+ years of experience providing mental health services in New York State.. She has worked in a variety of settings with diverse clients, with various mental and sexual health presenting concerns. While these experiences have allowed Dr. Goldman to have a vast understanding of the complexities of the human experience, they have also resulted in a passion for connecting with people in their process of and journey towards healing.
She approaches therapy from an attachment based and trauma informed lens, integrating various modalities and techniques in her work. Dr. Goldman believes in individualizing

treatment to the specific needs of each individual or couple she works with. While it takes time to build a strong relationship, the therapist client relationship is intimate and based in genuineness and human connection. Therapy can be a useful tool to help people gain insights, change behaviors, enhance connections, process past traumas, and heal while moving forward. This type of meaningful change occurs when people feel seen, safe, and understood.
Dr. Goldman enjoys working with people who are motivated to engage in their therapy process, are curious and open, and desire personal and relational growth in the hopes of creating a fuller and more meaningful life.
